Digital media receiver, also known as "Mech-Less" is a car receiver without a built-in CD player, relying instead on inputs like USB ports, SD card slots,dedicated iPod/iphone connections and auxilary inputs. Most receivers support connections for other periferals like Bluetooth, satellite radio tuner and HD Radio.
