Subwoofers

A good subwoofer speaker is an important addition to any car audio system, regardless of what type of music you're listening. They handle the very lowest frequencies, usually between 20 and 200 Hz, giving the sound more depth and realism. Just like with an amplifier, size is a consideration. It's important to have an idea of what car your subwoofer is going into, because the size of the car and amount of space will directly affect the size and the amount of subwoofers you can install. Keep in mind this is just the speaker itself, so you will still need to purchase an enclosure or build a box for it.
